Era da Natale che non scrivevo un post sulla musica in particolare delle canzoni che a me piacciono, a proposito se avete qualche canzone da proporre scrivetelo qua sotto nei commenti ;)
Comunque ritornando alla canzone oggi ho scelto una canzone che in questo periodo sto letteralmente adorando: Counting stars dei Onerepublic.
E' la terza estratta dall' album Native ed è stato pubblicato il 14 giugno 2013.

La canzone ha raggiunto un grande successo internazionale, diventando uno dei singoli di maggior successo della band negli ultimi anni. Ha raggiunto la seconda posizione della Billboard Hot 100. Il singolo è arrivato al primo posto in classifica nel Regno Unito e i primi dieci posti in altri venti Paesi, tra cui Australia, Canada, Germania, Irlanda e Nuova Zelanda. (come notate noi, Italia non ci siamo :')
Il video musicale è stato girato il 10 maggio 2013 a New Orleans, Louisiana, e ha debuttato il 31 maggio 2013. Nel video si vede la band eseguire la canzone in una stanza cupa, circondata da lampadine appese - ripresa intercambiata con scene di alcune persone che stanno giocando a un gioco e discutendo in un posto simile ad un ufficio. Alla fine del video, il pavimento dell'ufficio crolla e uno dei lavoratori cade, finendo nella stanza sottostante dove la band stava eseguendo la canzone.
Nel video sono inoltre presenti alcune scene in cui si vede un alligatore muoversi in una casa. Il video musicale di accompagnamento della canzone è stato diretto da James Lees.
